Afternoon reading and forearmstand :)

Jen has been active and in her body since childhood and has developed a refined intuitive awareness for the human body-mind connection which she currently shares and practices with others through her yoga classes.

Native to the one-and-only-culturally-rich New Orleans -- which explains the vibrancy, colors, and celebration and emotional depth and penetration rooted in her artwork.

Daughter of an artist and an engineer, former gold-medal national acrobatic gymnastics champion, professionally trained dancer (Newcomb Dance Company, NOBT, Alvin Ailey ADT, DNA Dance), Certified Hatha yoga instructor (Yoga Tree – 200hr Certification, Spring 2011).

Her work has exhibited in various galleries, venues, concerts and festivals in New Orleans, New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and San Francisco where she now resides - and she doesn’t plan on slowing down any time soon...

Jen holds a dual BS degrees in political science (international relations), French, and visual arts from Tulane University in New Orleans.

Her professional background is in visual and performing arts, yoga, civic engagement, creative business development efforts for civic start-ups in San Francisco and continues independent artistic endeavors in multimedia and performing arts.

She is continuing her artistic pursuits while concurrently exploring technology’s role in all of this – and wishes to better understand UX design and how she can choreograph art, science, and technology gracefully together to improve, enrich and simplify our lives.

Jen believes the true power of art, dance, movement is communication.

Art is an international language we can all understand which, she feels, has the ability to connect us – to ourselves and one another– and move us towards an evolved emotional state.
